Business Visit to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

From March 15 to 20, 2026, a business visit of the Belarusian delegation to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, took place. The visit was organized jointly with the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan with the active assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan.

The delegation included 17 private and state-owned enterprises from various industries.

As part of the planned events, the delegation met with Ambassador of Belarus Stanislav Vladimirovich Chepurny at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan. The parties discussed the specifics of trade and economic policy, ongoing cooperation with Turkmen partners, prospects for increasing mutual supplies of goods and services, and the participation of Belarusian enterprises in upcoming congress and exhibition events in Turkmenistan.

Meetings and negotiations were organized with board members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, representatives of the public sector, and leading enterprises of Turkmenistan on issues of direct supplies of Belarusian products and further cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation visited and toured the exhibition dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. representatives of companies held talks with potential partners at the exhibit booths.

They participated in the international forum "Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan" (IFT 2026), a major investment and business event focused on attracting private investment to the Turkmen economy, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, and developing international cooperation.

The business visit was not limited to negotiations. The Belarusian delegation explored Turkmenistan's production potential by visiting the Ashgabat Textile Complex and several private enterprises.

The business visit resulted in the conclusion of commercial agreements and contracts. “Belshina” OJSC concluded an agreement for tires supply, and “Krasny Pischevik” OJSC signed contracts for the supply of confectionery products to Turkmenistan.
